In you Everything Sank

Alone sleeps the half arched moon,
Alone laments a half slept soul,
Alone traverses the half -soiled river
Oh! abandoned one!! Alone cries your beloved.

I do not know how you contained me,
In the earth of your soul, in the embrace of your arms

You swallowed everything, like distance,
like the sea, like time, in you everything sank
Winged and wounded, in you, my wounds sank!!

this is nothing short of profound and beautiful verse Abdul! Amazing images, great "internal workings" and lovely flow.

Love it, absolutely... especially the opening couple of lines and the concluding one!
